Kids, dogs, water, splashing, camera gear. Lot's of fun on this shoot.

The key things technically on this shoot were, shooting at high shutter speed to freeze action, high ISO to ensure the latter, high frame rate to catch every moment, and the Sony A7 R III's awesome focus tracking because kids and dogs move at light speed.

I bought the A7RIV after this shoot.

These images were shot as part of a TVC production, so you need to have your approach for stills all figured out before they start rolling. There's no time for a seperate stills shoot.

For the pool shot, for example, I knew exactly what I wanted. Soft, decluttered and dark background. Snap frozen water and, of course, pin sharp on the boy and his dog.
