    Newbridge Locals

A small town with a lot of characters

Twenty minutes west of Bendigo is the town of Newbridge. All roads to Newbridge are straight and boring. But that doesn't mean the town is. I'm not sure what the population is, but let's just say scant. And for such a small town, there are quite a few characters.

This is the start of a project I began a while back. Whenever I visit Newbridge I try to grab one of the locals for a photo session.

Trevor loves tinkering with his motorbikes

When life gives you straight roads, make donuts.

Lenny is happy for a moment's peace as Sharon ducks inside

Daryl runs the General Store. There's a lot to do sometimes.

At home, Daryl collects chainsaws.. and a few other things too.

Graeme over the road. Right next to the river, which can be a worry when it rains too hard.
