This was a finalist in the Sydney Morning Herald's Shoot the Chef competition.

The truth is, I had a more famous chef lined up to shoot, but he fell through. So my neighbour kindly offered up her mum (yia yia) as a replacement.

We had a great time. She cooked up a 'made from scratch' spinach pita, complete with step by step instructions for me to recreate it at home. I never have though. It was simply delicious!

And the lighting was simple too. Just one speed light with a CTO gel placed outside to simulate late afternoon sun. That was it.
