This is a portrait project I started a little while back. The idea was to ask creative teams to brief me on a portrait of their partner and... vice versa. I thought that'd make a good series with a lot of really cool ideas to shoot.

My first team was Rocky Ranallo and Matt Smith. Rocky said Matt was such a kind and generous person, 'he's a real Mother Teresa'. I mean c'mon, that's the shot to get, right?

Matt said Rocky (who is a Batman fan) was like the Joker. The Heath Ledger version of course.

Then came Katie Kidd and Lizzie Wood. 'Lizzie always seems to have a fire under her arse', said Katie. While Lizzie said of Katie, 'Katie is a soft, fragile thing. But somehow she’s also the strongest person I know. Like gold.'
